With a single website, we achieve what was previously impossible: at a very attractive price, we combine the author’s website (e.g., MyName.com or BooksbyMyName.com) with the author profile, along with all the subpages for each book (e.g., Book1.com, Book2.com) linked from the home page. These subpages operate independently, each with its own authentic domain which is active and visible in the browser (not redirected), to achieve the desired impact of organic positioning in search engines, which some refer to by its acronym SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

With this unique offer, we provide the Prolific Website for just US$400 per year (or much less if contracted biennially or triennially) with up to 11 books (each with its ebook, print, and audiobook versions), expandable for more books. The Prolific Website allows both direct sales and links to all associated bookstores and libraries. The price indicated excludes the cost of domains or book editing, book layout, and other associated services for each of the books, if they have not yet been published. Of course, authors who have previously contracted TecnoTur for a Book Portal (for a single book) will receive a pro-rated discount. In that sense, the Prolific Website is a great upgrade from a Book Portal.

  • From the home page (e.g., MyName.com or BooksbyMyName.com), there will be a profile and a list of published (or pre-announced) books, each linked to the page dedicated to each title.
  • Each dedicated subpage will have its own domain for the book, with buttons for direct sales of the audiobook and e-book and the print version directly from the printer (with a lower price for the buyer and a much higher royalty for the author), as well as links to the most important bookstores and libraries where it is offered.
  • Ideal organic positioning (SEO) at a very attractive price compared to the price of two independent e-commerce websites, as well as much less maintenance.
  • Optionally, but without any additional cost, the Prolific Website can have its own blog so the author can publish articles or news.

Please indicate next to each domain whether you already own it or still need to register it, either with TecnoTur or externally. Remember that at TecnoTur, we are experts in accented domains (or domains with ñ) and always recommend registering both the accented and non-accented versions of the same domain, to achieve the magic of having it completely foolproof. Even if you register both domains (with and without the accent mark), it will only count as one domain within the quota of 11 allowed with the base price of the Prolific Website. You only need to include the domains you want to include initially. You can always add more domains later.

Special conditions:

  1. Given the special configuration associated with the server and the website, the Prolific Website cannot be combined with other offers, nor with other cPanels that the author may have contracted with TecnoTur.
  2. Given the special configuration associated with the server and the website, this service will be supervised by TecnoTur. This means that although the author will have access as Editor and E-commerce Supervisor to make adjustments 24 hours a day, the author will not have access to the cPanel or administrative access to the WordPress used for the Prolific Website. However, we will comply with any reasonable request (within the terms of service) and courtesy, e.g., adjusting the header or footer.
  3. Although the Prolific Website can be bilingual or multilingual (ask us about separate pricing), the e-commerce portion (i.e., the sale itself and the messages sent automatically to the buyer) will currently have its messages in a single language chosen by the author, or if the author wishes, in two languages within a single message.
